Amra Zulfikarpašić and Nikša Barišić “Soap opera”

The work is based on the appealing spirit of the public, as an erotic warehouse of human phantasm. The male/ female space is divided by a fiery wall of social and moral prohibition. The male bath is symbolically characterized by a phallic pyramid of laundry soap (“kabaš“), and female is paved with variously colored facial soaps arranged in a mosaic of vagina. The baths separated by flames are animated with the sound of men singing under shower and girls giggling.
