“Videoart in Slovenia in the 1980s”

Dunja Blažević’s presentation of “TV Gallery” (RTS/TV Beograd, 1981 / 91), held on March 10, 2009.

The exhibition curated by Igor Španjol and Alenka Gregorič is the last in a trilogy of projects included in the “Hosting Moderna galerija!” initiative. Presenting the main trends in Slovenian video art and related media and entitled Non-central Domains, the trilogy is a step toward a more synthetic and integral view of the development of media art over the last four decades.

Dunja Blažević (SCCA) was invited as a special guest to present selection of videoart works realized  in the framework of “TV Gallery” monthly program which she edited and produced  at Belgrade Television in the ’90s.

“TV Gallery” represents specific television production  that was  broadcast on the Yugoslav TV network from 1981 to 1991.
