“Made in Sarajevo”- exhibition of the artists from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The event was conceived with the intention of presenting “other art” from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the public in Zagreb. It was the first presentation of the Bosnian scene in Zagreb after the breakup of Yugoslavia in 1991.

The exhibition presented at the Miroslav Kraljević Gallery pointed to something new, other. The selection is characterized by a discontinuity in relation to the tendencies in Bosnia and Herzegovina contemporary art at the end of the eighties (due to the challenges of war, departure of people) and new dynamics and energy created by the appereance of a younger generation of Bosnian artists, supported by the SCCA.

Participating artists from BiH: Danica Dakić, Nebojša Šerić Šoba, Dejan Vekić, Muhidin Tvico, Timur Stroil, Enes Zlatar, Brad Fox, Dženid Jaganjac with video presentations,  and Kurt & Plasto with the  performance.
Curator: Dunja Blažević, Director of the SCCA.
