“Home” – international exhibition. Project conceived by Maja Bajević. Curator – Dunja Blažević.
13 artists from all over the world took participation at the international exhibition “HOME”. This project gathered artists of dispersed former Yugoslav communities and the artists from India to the United States who dealt with the subject of home / identity, trying to redefine and reconstruct the meaning of “home” in intellectual, artistic and emotional sense. This exhibition dealt with the issues of refugees and displaced people, the burning topics of (not only) ipost – Yugoslav countries. All the participating artists were present during the setup and the vernisage of the exhibition and most of the works were produced by the SCCA here in Sarajevo. This encounter, socializing and exchange of experiences were the most precious moments for the public and for the artists themselves.
Participating artists: Maja Bajević (BiH), Danica Dakić (BiH), Sanja Iveković (Croatia), Varsha Nair (India), Adrian Paci (Albania), Marjetica Potrč (Slovenia), Edo Vejselović (Macedonia), Rachel Rossner (USA), Milica Tomić (Serbia), Šejla Kamerić (BiH), Jusuf Hadžifejzović (BiH), Ghazel (Iran – France) and Gordana Anđelić-Galić (BiH).
