Visit and presentation of Omar Lopez-Chahoud, Curator of UNTITLED and the Nicaraguan Biennial (USA)
A presentation about UNTITLED. as an innovation of the traditional art fair model for international galleries and nonprofit art spaces with a focus on emerging and mid career contemporary art.Our emphasis on international living artists and a curatorial approach that showcases some of the most exciting contemporary art from around the globe.
This past year UNTITLED. expanded to more than 97 galleries and not-for-profit spaces from 23 countries. UNTITLED. is presented on the beach in a pavilion designed by internationally recognized architecture firm K/R, with a floor plan to emphasize the fair’s unique curatorial approach, enhancing the visitor’s experience.
UNTITLED. presents a compelling program of conversations, performances and special events that have included performances by the TM Sisters and Jacolby Satterwhite; installations by Coco Fusco, Santiago Sierra, Björne Schülke, and others; and talks including a conversation with LaToya Ruby Frazier presented by Aperture Foundation, among others.
The Nicaraguan Biennial in the context of contemporary art in Central America.
The event is organized by the SCCA (Sarajevo Center for Contemporary Art) in cooperation with the Public ROOM Sarajevo.
